Aleesio and Nigel planned to make this record acoustically, but when they walked into the control room at Masterlink there were two vintage Fender Bassman heads in there, one sat on top of the other.
Alessio immediately said, "Let's use these." So they did!
 
This is a collection of compositions that are, in part, chosen to remember some of the past giants of jazz guitar- Pat Martino, Wes Montgomery, and Emily Remler. They snatched the opportunity to record for an afternoon in the middle of a tour at the tail end of 2025.
 
They also managed to grab a couple of tunes from their show on bonfire night at the legendary London jazz venue, The Bulls Head in Barnes. There would have been more live takes, but Nigel forgot to press record for the first set!
Like so much jazz, that unrecorded music just went up into the ether, but they do have this album, which  they feel captured the intimacy and intensity of the duo,
