This recording which is released on 33 Jazz Records has drawn on a mixture of some of James Chadwick’s favourite tunes and a healthy mixture of originals. The performance 
is very much a dialogue between the three musicians on show with the band creating landscapes and ever evolving textures.

From the groove based 'Moments' to the hypnotic 'Lola' the Cd takes the listener on a journey of differing emotions. The early reviews have to described the album as 'remarkable' and 'thought provoking'

Guitarist James Chadwick approaches his music in a distinctive and thoughtful way, blending ever evolving melodic lines with inventive and measured harmonic treatment. He is an excellent guitarist who eschews flashy technical runs for textural and melodic solos. He makes standard tunes sound very fresh by leaving lots of space and creating unexpected turns.

 

James is accompanied by the ubiquitous and renowned Danish bassist Henrik Jensen (Michael Blake, Hannes Riepler, Gene Calderazzo, Billy Jenkins) and drummer extraordinaire Mark Whitlam (Clare Teal, Pee Wee Ellis, Andy Shephard, Claire Martin).
