At The Jazz Bureau. Livia Records Dublin getting that critical acclaim so well deserved!
This is a must have album in your collection . The artistry of Louis Stewart's playing in my view is unsurpassed
I THOUGHT ABOUT YOU was recorded when Louis was working in Ronnie Scott’s band, as was John Taylor, coinciding with Cedar Walton’s quartet performance at the club. Louis was so enthralled by Cedar’s bassist Sam Jones, and drummer Billy Higgins, that he invited them to record with him, along with John Taylor.
Originally recorded in 1977, and released in 1980 with some edits and overdubs, this impeccable version restores the original London recording and adds two extra tracks.
The results are possibly the best Louis Stewart studio recording, with top level accompaniment from the brilliant supporting trio.
Includes a 16-page booklet with detailed sleeve notes and great photographs.
